I purchased the Dirty Deeds exhaust back in December as part of a group buy from Crown. In conversation with Chris decided to purchase some RCI Metalworks aluminum skid plates.
Everything arrived within a couple of weeks, unfortunately I work out of town and I just did the install. The exhaust took about 90 minutes including removal of old system. Super easy DIY. The system sounds mean with cool burbling sound when you're off the pedal. These hemholtz resonators really work on killing drone. Still a pretty loud note...sounds GREAT!! There are some sound clips here on the dirty deeds exhaust thread. Sorry I can't provide a link.
The RCI skids are very solid and were also easy to install. 45 mins and ready to go. The fastening points line up perfectly. I chose them beause most of my off roading involves gravel, so one little stone could ruin your day. These are lightweight and offer a lot of protection especially the transmission skid.
Chris was a pleasure to deal with, always returning PMs promptly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Crown and their products.
