2013 delivery delay b/c of HID's

So my 2013 has been built for 3+ weeks but is at the plant because they put a hold on all trucks with HID headlights. This is all they will tell the dealer - has anyone heard of an issue they are having with the HID's? Any help is appreciated - was hoping for delivery this week.

damn that sucks. i havent heard anything about this yet. hope it doesnt take much longer

Have you called Svt yourself to check on the hold? 1800fordsvt option 1. Give them your vin and check for a hold. My truck was built jan 7th, shipped the 8th, and made it to the dealer the 19th. No hold on mine, and it has HIDs

Let's hope not because that would affect most Raptors (with 801A pkg) and a lot of other higher end F150s.

I highly doubt this. Most raptors are being built with the HID's along with other vehicles so this would be a definite halt production. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Kind of like last year there was a bogus rumor going around about something else delaying the orders.... tailgate steps I think???

And it doesn't really make any sense since the OP stated his truck has been built for 3+ weeks...?

mine was built on 1/24 and shipped on 1/28 with HIDs
