When installed correctly, you will have zero issues when opening the hood, even if you slam it up and don't hold it with a hand you shouldn't have any rubbing issues. I'm sure some members will chime in on that too

Haven't had any interference at all.
Mounts are solid and haven't had any issues a couple thousand offroad miles on em.
