Just got my muffler deleted today. Welded a Y-pipe to flow out the dual factory tips. 2 1/2" Pipe was welded in. Sounds a hell of a lot beefier with that ****** pop when revved. Im going to take pics and a video once I get a chance. Havent seen anyone do this yet and figured what the hell, straight piped all my other vehicles.

As far as MPGs, still the same when it had a muffler.

Still have resonator in, may replace that with a straight pipe, not sure about it still. Im really liking the way my exhaust sounds by just removing the muffler. But I didnt get a chance to record the exhaust today, but Ill try and have a video up tomorrow or something with the windows up and down inside the cab and standing outside the cab.

I have a 'muffler delete'.... It consisted of my brother rolling under the truck on a creeper with a hacksaw, looking at me and saying "aww, c'mon!" ...I said go for it and he hacked the pipe off and everything from the muffler to the exhaust tips has been sitting on a shelf in his garage ever since. That was well over a year ago. It sounds mean, particularly on a cold start in the morning.
