MBRP 3 1/2" Catback Black installed

I wanted to get a new exhaust system for a long time and I finally pulled the plug and got MBRP's product. After driving it for a day it has been great and the sound is noticeably louder and deeper. It isn't overpowering but it sounds like a raptor should sound. So far I love it

Yeah but it's not to the point where it's annoying or too loud. I like it because I can hear the truck being awesome :rockit:

Just put one on as well, I was surprised to find it's not obnoxious.
Sounds good when you're on the throttle, no drone on the highway, my general grabbers are louder on the highway than the exhaust.
Outstanding fit too, literally took me 15 minutes to swap exhausts.

I've been thinking about the black MBRP. Did you install it yourself? If so any problems?

What part number did you guys get? Is it aluminized steel or stainless?

All that was available in my neck of the woods was the stainless, #S5228409.
Then I ordered the black tip.

Sound clips are virtually worthless, you can get an idea of pitch, but not overall volume and drone.
I'll try and get something though, regardless.

Did it come with the resonator? The picture shows it on their website with the resonator as well as the muffler. If it did come with the resonator does anyone know if the short turndown system comes with the resonator?
