I ordered my mud flaps without really looking at the truck. After receiving the flaps, I looked at the exhaust tips and noticed that they will not have clearance to install the flaps. They will definitely rub/ interfere. I did buy used, but I can not see and damage on the pipes that would cause them to be bent. Is this normal?

If that is the factory exhaust, then no that is not normal. The tips are further back.

You should crawl under the truck and see what exhaust system you have. The stock one sits back farther then that. Maybe someone switched out the stock muffler and put in a shorter muffler?

Yeah, it looks like the former owner backed into something. Those tips are about 6" from where they should be. They also look like they're touching, there should be about a half inch space between them.
