Ask the dealer, but as long as it doesn't cause the problem, should be fine for warranty.

I got my bad lanz hpev 3" cut out kit yesterday and installed it right away.
I replaced the resonator with the y pipe.. perfect fit it also gives it alot more volume with the electric cut out closed sounds really good with it open and closed...

i ordered the clamp kit that they offer as well for easy install i ordered 2,

the rocker swtich it comes with i tapped it to the number 4 aux switch so it powers up the switch that the kit comes with ..... cake install if any other questions buzz me be more than happy to assist .... im sure all other kits are similar. and with the cut out is defiantly a head turner

one thing i informed the company that the wires had to be a bout 2 feet longer to install under steering wheel thats were i wanted to place mine but for now i have the switch hidden in the glove box.. ,
ima order the remote control kit they offer ... for a much cleaner look
il post some sound clips later on today...

GSXR, you know at first I was going to go with DMH, but after looking, it's $35 cheaper to go with Badlanz and they offer a longer warranty. Thanks for posting about this kit, you definitely saved me some money.
