First time taking it offroad

Well I got my truck last week and a few days after getting it it was time to take it out on the beach, I went 3 days in a row.

Congrats on the new wheels. You need to "really" take it off-road and see what it can do, you will be amazed.

I am out there all the time. I may be out there this weekend. Sore thumb is a great beach or is that demo?. If you see a red raptor with BAJA150 plates that's me!

That's Smith's Point its 5 miles from the road to the end of the beach with the jetty. I didnt get the empire state pass before they stopped selling them for the summer this year (they dont sell them between May 1st and Labor day) so I wont be making it out to sore thumb at least until labor day. And there really isnt anywhere on Long Island to go wheeling that you aren't risking being stopped by cops, there just the beach, but since its before memorial day there arent any park police out yet and not many people on the beach so you can open it up a bit. And I didnt take any pics but there are some nice trials behind the dunes that you get to drive through, they are what lead to the point that I fish at.

Heres the google map of the area, the trails by the point are fun to rip around when the beach isnt crowded

I'm from Huntington but am out at smiths point almost every weekend.

Bring it down to island beach state park in NJ you can get daily pass in summer.
