I with the MN guys from the Land O Lakes region could be convinced to run winter RallyX events.

I would have had to make a 3 hour drive into WI to get a real timed event.

I supplemented by going to a local ice track on a lake and just hooning around it on weekends. Even that is done now, the last big storm dumped too much for a pickup to plow out because of the slush underneath from the rain before the snow.

We had to do a lot of prep for the cars, I think there is one of two more ice races planned in MI still, but I have not been following the details. At the rate this winter / spring is going... they March race might be in all snow again. Last year it was 50% ice 50% mud

Looks like fun.
Do you carry special insurance for the truck since this is a timed event?
