I'll be a Jill Descent + power braking ****** on those down hill sections. I just don't believe I could trust the descent control feature w/o using those brakes. I'll be SCARCED!

You'd be surprised. I've played with mine on some steep stuff and controlling the speed with taps of the brake and gas is really easy. You can get it down to a serious crawl and it's pretty confidence inspiring.
