UHF / VHF? What does everyone use here?

So I'm accustomed to using a 5w 80ch uhf radio back in oz.

No one really uses vhf anymore and some old blokes likes to use HF every now and then...


I want to put a radio in the truck but have no idea where to start or what to get...

Check out the one and only radio thread in the electronics section. Most runs require a vhf radio with murs channels programmed or a specific commercial frequency.
