So I ordered a Smittybilt roof cage and would like to put a couple of wakeboard speakers up there so that can be tied into one of the aux switches, flip it on and it plays what's on the car radio. Instant party in the desert. Hah.

Is this possible and what parts would be needed aside from the speakers & wiring?

I would also like to put a race radio in my truck that could be tied into these speakers and only these speakers, like an intercom. Suggestion on what unit to go with and what additional parts would be needed to make this work as well? I like the radios with the optional headphones.

we use wetsounds for tower speakers. you will need an amp to power the speakers, but the issue is wiring in the speakers for your intercom. you will need switches or relays to change from the amp signal to the radio signal.
