Hello raptor maniacs,
maybe someone can help me with a supid but bothering problem...
I'm a '12 raptor owner and i REALLY love it,but... there's always a "but"...
Sometimes, randomly, when i unlock (using the "unlock" button on the key transmitter) the truck, the alarm starts:
Lights flashing and honks!!!
And neighborhood awake,obviously...

And absolutely... random!!!
sometimes it works properly, sometimes it goes crazy... :Insane:

Any thoughts?

Thank you...
Ciao,
Marco

Make sure you have a cup of coffee before heading out to the truck. You may be hitting the panic button by mistake. lol.

Sorry, I had to.

I have a '11 and have never had a problem with the alarm. GL

Mine did that once. I went inside, got a sharp tipped knife, and pried the rubber face off of the fob. Used said knife and popped the panic side circuit board out. Problem fixed FOREVER. Dumbest thing ever invented.........

My 12' has never acted up. Maybe you have a ****** up remote from being dropped before? Do both of the fobs do it? I'd switch over to the 2nd second supplied one and give the one that's screwed up to your wife...if you have one. Let her deal with it.
