What does your navigation setup look like? I'm running a rammounts tablet setup with phone x grip on the side, dual GPS receiver with an iPad air 2 running Gia GPS and Co pilot software.uploadfromtaptalk1445042498992.jpg

I'm using a Mob Armor mount from @AlternativeOffroad with an IPad mini, but haven't had a chance to run off-road with it yet. Just switched from my iPad because it obstructed too much of my view. Running MotionX as of now and it is working well, but still learning how to use all the features. I understand other apps have an audible feature for cautions and such which would be very useful. Haven't discovered that feature on MotionX if it has it.91d4bbe9ba41c14f24847acff18dc781.jpgabdfe351ca5a58a24a9832a7f9cf1910.jpg

I have been looking at thr mob armor products. My only concern is glare. Do you get any glare having the tablet so high?

Yes, at times there is issue with glare. Not so much that it isn't useful though. This is one of the reasons audibles for cautions and waypoints would be so helpful. The last run I went on was the first time I've used this setup and I learned my iPad was way too obstructive for my liking and this was a slower paced run through mountain trails.

This utilizes a big 90lb magnet that so far moves less than my ram mount setup. I'm heading to Anza borengo on Friday so I'll see how it does on trail riding. 87f76e6b4e5b66cf2c930172ae2966dd.jpg
