I did the update. I still have to put the splash screen back on which I will do tomorrow! But since doing the update, I've noticed that the GPS tends to lose its accuracy as to where I am. I'll be on the highway and it'll have me on some roads near the highway instead. It never did that before. Anyone else having that problem? And how was it fixed?

Shane

Yep I am seeing the same issue now. Would like this fixed also.

Thanks FordIVTteam, I just installed the patch and the RaptorSVT splash screen is back.
No problem, pat247. :)

Hi medic001918 and rDFTS,

Since I haven’t seen many owners reporting this after updating to V3.7, I recommend trying the master reset as a basic troubleshooting step. Here are the steps: How to Perform a Master Reset | MyFord Touch | Ford.com

Can you both let me know if there is a noticeable difference after performing the reset? Thanks!

Here is my question:
I just logged into the SYNC site and it said my software is up to date, I have the following Version: Gen2 - V3.6.2
But I went ahead and downloaded the update files from the Google folder which JimboSVT posted and made the changes in Autoinstall file.
What's the danger of running the update when SYNC site says I don't need an update?
Hi Trail_Rider,

I don’t recommend installing it on your vehicle since it is only intended for the 2014 and newer models.

Put the patch on. All back, all good! Thanks @FordIVTteam!
Awesome, Jigks! You’re welcome.

Hey Kim ( @FordIVTteam ) any idea if Ford is bringing a CarPlay update to our MFT units?
Hey oxfordraptor,

There hasn’t been any information released for MyFord Touch specifically, but Ford is working to integrate Apple’s CarPlay in the future. I’ll share more information once it becomes available.

Thank you @pat247 will try this later!

Hello CGERM,

pat247 had a great suggestion. Also, make sure you deleted the original V3.7 files completely off of the USB before putting the patch files on there. :)

Gonna try another usb flash drive later on after work. Tried it on the same flash drive that I originally updated 3.7 and nothing happened how odd. Everything was off it too. Hope a new flash drive works!

I suggested that we call them, but he still said that that wouldn't help because they still could not fix it.

What a worthless human being, not even willing to call another dealer to find out what the fix is to help the customer out. I abhore that attitude. You should be able to fire that waste of *****,talking about just taking up space on the planet

Kim,

I did the reset today. I'll let you know if it's any better after a day or two of driving and seeing if it gets lost.

Kim:

I drove around today after doing a reset and reprogramming everything. And it took about 8 miles before my GPS was lost again. I've attached a photo so you can see. I was actually driving down the main road. I knew where I was going, but if I didn't and wanted to use my GPS to get somewhere, this would certainly be annoying. This update ruined the system sadly! Is there a way I can go back? The small improvements aren't worth the inaccuracy that it has now.

Since the master reset is the best troubleshooting step that I'm able to recommend over the forum, I'm going to suggest bringing this up to your dealership.

Can you please send your name, VIN, phone number, and mileage in a PM so I can document this feedback? I haven't heard many owners reporting this issue after the update, but I'd like to start keeping track at least.

Yep same thing here.
And yes I have stock wheels and tires. No issues prior to the update.
