her are the pictures of the box i had to build for an older toyota single cab. we used the pioneer shallow mount 12 woofer. if any of you decide to go this route i know you will be able to fit 12s under the rear seat. these speakers only have a 4in mounting depth

How is the sound out of those? 4 inches is incredible (I wish that's what she said...LOL).

What about redoing the current sub that comes with the Raptor? I don't want to take up all of the space with speaker boxes, but a nice, compact replacement sub and sub box for the stock location would be great.

I often flip the seats up to travel with my Lab/Shepard and Pit/Collie in the back, so it needs to be tough and small, to give them plenty of room.

Plus I don't need a "BOOMING" system, but better, deeper bass would be great.

haha, just get some more ******

as far as the sound goes in these speakers, there was plenty of bass. the guys dash was rattling like crazy (part of was because his truck was old) but also because these speakers provide a good amount of low bass. it ran a 35hz tone with no problems.
if you want to tweak your oem system you might want to try a different box for the oem woofer. generally speaking the bigger the box the less power it needs and the deeper the sound. but if you port the box you can tune the frequency by adjusting the port size and length.
lets plan on spending a few minutes going over your truck when we are in reno. i can give you all the options i think possible for your truck. that way you can get a better visual as to how you might go about it
