Back-up camera wired to Uplifter Switch

Hey fellas,

Has anyone ever tried to wire their existing back-up camera to an uplifter switch?
I use my truck to tow a bit of livestock/boat/moving stuff and I'm interested in the possibility of wiring the back up camera to engage upon the use of an uplifter switch. I'm not sure how possible it is so I'm looking for some help! I do not have the nav system so my camera is located in the rear view mirror.
