Apple TV

I just installed a lockpick in my '13 and was planning on streaming vid from my iphone 5, but the new connector on the iphone 5 does not support composite video and Apple does not plan on adding the support as they thenk everything should be over wifi... so has anyone tried to add an Apple TV using an HDMI to composite adapter and using the sync accesspoint setting to create a network so you can stream from devices like an iphone 5? I wanted to see if anyone had any luck with this before I buy a HDMI to composite adapter.

i doubt if that will work as apple tv will require wifi to function smoothly

If you have tethering enabled can you use your iphone 5 to setup a wifi point to connect to the apple tv?

This is why I went aftermarket. I stream netflix to watch movies all the time while charging the phone.
