Antenna removal...

So, I know. The bitch unscrews. I took mine off to fit it in the garage without it bending to shit.

I took it to the dealer, parked it in the parking lot AWAY from service and I come out and there is a ******* antenna on it!

I try to take this one off, and I don't know WTF, but this shit just turns and turns and turns. There is a skip while it turns, like it could be stripped out and the threads are jumping, but it does it while turning it either way.

Help?

Take that bitch back and ask them to remove it..

I know that it took me forever to get my antenna off.. I probably turned that shit for 5 minutes till it came undone.

Does it feel like it gets tighter or looser?

Dealer is on the complete opposite side of town!

Yeah, I took my other one off and it was like, done. This one is definitely not getting tighter or looser.

Your dealer went and added another antenna on your truck without mentioning it?

Do you think it is a different setup than the 2010?

Instead of the easy screw in and out maybe it has a seal or something??

Its a screw in with the 11's. I swapped to a cravenspeed stubby on mine.

Not another one -- the factory antenna on the fender. I took mine off so it would fit in the garage and as it was there, they put another one on. wtf.

Nope, it's a screw on/off. I took this one off when I bought it.

I would only try pushing down and twisting, use a towel and then your wrench to get a better grip.... Im sure youve done that shit, not a rookie here.
