You can load/unload with 1 man with manual or electric lifts/jacks. Prices seem to widely range. I see decent ones for $15k, nice ones with slide outs for $25+k and occasionally a nice one for $10k. Some have a shower and plumbing, others don't. I like the slide in because you don't have to pull a big trailer, if you want to also pull something you still can and it's easily removable on the trail for day trips. They are more cramped than a bumper pull, but we're small people, so that's OK for us. I like the low profile pop top as it seems like it'll catch a lot less air on the highway.

I love mine! 7B184661-5AE8-4BE9-A0C9-885944FBBCBB_zpsikfohxpx.png
It's lasted 4 years and 2 trucks, it kind of fits the raptor bed

Just saw this thread but I have been running a RTT on my raptor for a while now. It performs awesome on the truck and is super easy to setup when you are done for the day.

Tent is a Tepui Kukenam and the rack was made by me.

Yea, I am going camping at the end of the month so I'll try and take a bunch of pics to post.

For me, the key was the tonneau cover. Its a pace edwards jackrabbit and I am using their explorer series rails which have t-slots in them for carriage bolts. I didn't want to mess up the bed rails for a rack so being able to maint them directly to the tonneau rails worked out perfectly.

I'm picking up the adjustable Thule rack this weekend. They are having a Friday-Sunday sale with 20% off making the same or cheaper than I can get it online or used. Anyone else want one? Should be about $500.

I just installed some Thule Xsporter racks this weekend and mounted up my RTT(from a brand I work for called POLER). Here are some photos(damn girls couldnt stop peeking their heads out!)

Im really stoked on my initial thoughts of the setup. Reason I went with the Thule racks, as opposed to custom, is that they are height adjustable. In theory, I will be able to fit my dirt bikes in the bed still with the racks at maximum height. Stay tuned for those photos.

Nice Camp Vibes! Question for you, how wide (front to back mounted on the truck) is that tent? I have ambitions of putting my James Baroud tent on a rack similar to this, but because its a hard shell tent, it may be too long.

The footprint of the tent is 4ft wide(across the bed, just shy of the bed rails) and 5.5ft deep(cab to tailgate area).
