You need hydraulic motors, not electric. You can run hydraulic motors off a small diesel engine with substantially less weight than electric. Look up large engine driven " man lifts" this will give you a better idea. I highly suggest you go this route.

I thought of orbit motors but don't know about steering than? and would be in

The Ripsaw 'tank'- this is what I thought of when I saw your post. I know what you're talking about and I like the idea of a more off-road capable trailer. I've seen a few, like those smaller two-wheel trailers, but none is quite what I need or want yet.

Speaking of the tank- I.Want.One.So.Bad.

I like your idea a lot, but why not tracks? the independent wheels would be really nice though too..

Side note..where can I get one of those ripsaw's lol

for towing to the spot you want to get to that way you don't need a trailer it is the trailer also designed to hold a atv
