Hey guys, I'm planning on taking the trip from TX to Telluride. Does anyone know of any good trails in that area or any good off roading places in New Mexico? I plan on bringing a dirt bike or two also.

Dang. Wish I was still going with yall, then we could have caravanned... Have fun and be safe!

I'm not going with the other people on the forum, I just found out about that today when I was searching. Kinda wish I knew about it, though. I'm headed up there with the family around the 8th or so.

I just got back a few weeks ago from Telluride. I did Last Dollar with the family with no trouble and very scenic. It's approximately 24 miles and starts in Telluride and ends up on the back side of Ralph Lauren's ranch. The next day we went up to Alta Lakes. A very easy drive and very scenic. You go through a ghost town and end up at the top with a beautiful lake. Next day we went to Bridal Falls. This is the passage way to Black Bear pass, but be aware that BP is very difficult and one way. I have never ventured on Black Bear, but I've heard its one hell or a ride. I was their during monsoon season this month. So I never made it up to Imogene. I've done it on dirt bikes several times and it's awesome! Enjoy your trip and post some pics from your adventures.

We did Last Dollar trail as well last August (2013). Pretty easy and relaxed trail but amazing views.
