I was thinking of going tablet as it works and is cheap. But opted for the Lowrance as the refresh rate is fast. But you can get a GPS booster for the tablet that makes it run just as fast for 1/4 the cost.

Does anyone have a file for the Elite5M for the TRR that can be emailed to me? Just got the 5M installed, and wanted to upload the TRR course if someone has it already. Thanks.

Not sure. They may have sent it to my business partner that registered us and he hasn't sent it to me. I'll check.

Not usually. Folks running GPS at TRR are in the minority. He usually posts a link in the event thread.

He mentioned in the TRR Event Thread that last years file is 95% accurate. Only a small section has been changed and he will map it out when he arrives early next week and post the file for everybody.
