TRR: Colorado Raptor Run

You guys have a great time. I wish I could have made it but hopefully there will be plenty of video and pictures to see. Plus a great trip report? Jealous!

I was not able to make the deadline for the run; however, my wife and I will be celebrating our anniversary in the Ouray/Telluride/Durango area next week. Any trail suggestions/recommendations? I have a SCREW, so nothing where a SCAB would be a necessity!

Kennebec Pass is west of Durango and is a easy trail with good views and hiking.
Ophir pass north of Silverton on 550 is another easy pass.
You can do Cinnamon Pass and Engineer Pass to make a loop from and back to Silverton. Engineer gets technical in some spots.
Imogene Pass is also a good one but is technical in some spots. Almost (avoid black bear and mineral creek) all the well known trials in the area are doable in a Screw but the degree of difficultly and potential truck damage will come down to your trial experience and having a good spotter when you need one.

Anyone looking for another set of wheels I have a set of powder coated oems with some plasti dip that needs to be redone or removed. I can bring them to the run if anyone is interested! $400 for all 4.

Okay Ill be up that frequency the whole trip. I just got your email you sent a week ago, for some reason they like to go to my spam folder. Anyways I'm hitting the road in a few hours going to take my time and get there in two days. Im staying in Southfork for the night instead of Creede, hit me up if we decide to do a dinner so we have time to drive up to you guys. See every one soon and drive safe!
