LOCATION:
Isanti County Fairgrounds
Cambridge, MN

Cambridge is about 40 minutes north of Minneapolis on MN65.

I'll be out there running my truck. This is a new site for RallyX, so I can't comment about it.

There will be a portajohn, bring your own lunch/soda.

I meant to post this sooner, but, was waiting for the report on the site being checked out.

Bump. Venue changed.

The event is now at the Isanti County Fairgrounds in Cambridge, MN.

Apparently there was an unknown(until today) issue with the city that prevents the use of the other site.

Bump again. Only 13 people have pre registered(the minimum is 15).

But, the event is going on as planned anyway so there will be a shitload of runs for everyone.

There will probably be 3-5 more people that are against pre registering and will sign up in the morning.

It was just a test and tune, but, that was awesome. I ended up with 25 miles worth of laps.

It worked well for me, the clay/sand ground was pretty sloppy. My fastest clean run was only .7 behind the fastest modified AWD time(which is a caged legal racecar).

I have a bunch of decent video, but, I recorded it all upside down as I forgot I had the GoPro setup that way from the last time it was used. I'll start editing that today.

It's going to take me quite awhile to clean all the clay off of the bottom of my truck.

I felt good about myself running against the "real" cars in the slop, then things dried out.

I never see that many miles here in Detroit. Lucky to get 4 miles a day

There were so few people, everyone could pretty much hotlap the track.

I don't know how much of that 25 was actual ground covered and how much was wheel spin.
