Are you planning on running in different states? and what is the expected cost to do these runs?

It would be nice if they ran in different parts of the US

We will have the web site up soon with all the cost and information on each each expedition. The plan is to grow and set up expeditions across the US. We are looking for other great states and raptor owners who are interested in this type adventure to possibly get involved with planning in their states. If you know of a point to point long distance off road destination in you state and want to get involved then feel free to email me. We are currently talking to a few different transportation companies about low cost transportation to get to California. Please check back soon as we will be posting our first off road expedition very soon.

Thank you all very much for all the feedback. I look forward to seeing you on the trail.

R.E.

Screw driving to Alaska. I would get my truck to Seattle, jump on a ferry and cruise up to Anchorage.

Big state that is about 94% privately owned. With no BLM land, only state and national parks, and they aren't big fans of offroading.

The Texas desert racing series's have had to work really hard to secure locations for races, there are only 3 (possibly 4) that are desert/Raptor friendly.

The Texana ranch is one of them, where we are having the April Raptor run.

Congratz to RE on getting this off the ground! I'm looking forward to helping spearhead many of the Explorer events here in and around California, Nevada and Arizona. I'm also looking forward to joining in on the Runs and Rallys, helping out and telling the stories that unfold. And I can't wait to see events like this spread across the country, and who knows... maybe even the world!

Speaking of which, if you're in an area RE hasn't reached yet, have some cool Raptor friendly terrain that suits a single or multi day Explorer type event and think you might want to lead a group, let RE know! I can personally tell ya, they're VERY open and welcoming to us guys like us, and want to help support us getting out there and using these bad ass trucks like they're made to be used.

Again, gratz RE! Cheers to a great 2012 and beyond.

PS: In case you missed it, here's just one example of what goes into one part of planning a Run. Pretty awesome.
