The 2013 SnoBall 500

Interest Check

A lot of information has been brought up about the Raptors insane ability in the snow. So with that, WorldTour and I have been talking about doing a large gathering of Raptors during the winter. This would be a fully organized winter driving experience focusing on off-road/dirt road/ lots of snow covered roads and fields with minimal traveling on paved/plowed sections.

While we can’t offer posh accommodations and Desert like Las Vegas we can (hopefully) offer tremendous amounts of SNOW, exciting driving and Casinos after the day’s adventures.

With that being said we would like to get on to the few details:

Expedition name: The SnoBall 500
Dates Jan 19-21, 2013 MLK weekend
Location: Upper Peninsula of Michigan/ Northern Wisconsin

Full details are currently being looked at and finalized.

We will provide more information as we get closer. So with that being said who wants to play in the snow?"

WSI right now we are looking into truck trails, country trails, logging trails and some private land of people I know. ORV trails are more than likely not an option due to snowmobile traffic. Some of the truck trails in the UP are very similar to trails shown at the raptor run. Difference is they will be 100% covered in snow. The truck trails are not plowed but are used still used in the winter by logging trucks and snowmobiles.

We are looking to finalize actual events but towns on the short list to stop at would be
Bark River, MI(Island Resort & Casino)
Marquette, MI or Baraga (Ojibwa Casino)
Watersmeet, MI (Lac Vieux Desert Casino/Paulding light)
Mackinaw City, MI

Cool idea!

Normally up sledding in Eagle River, Wi that weekend. If we don't get more snow this year than the last few, this could be more more fun.

Keep us informed!

One thing I think would be cool is to show up to one of these small towns(I have one in mind) with more Raptors than there are people in the town and park them all out front of a Bar or establishment.

Could you imagine 10-15 Raptors lined up out side this place?

Ya that actual one i posted is less than 1/4 mile from where I grew up in the UP. The village is 36 sq miles and 214 people I believe.

I knew the owners when we have it all finalized I will touch base with every business.
