Thanks Scott. That's great! I did get it back to English, but lost my programmed frequencies.

0) Turn on the radio – Use the knob on the top of the radio to set the desired volume.
1) Press “VFO/MR” – The radio will toggle between Frequency Mode and Channel Mode. The radio voice will tell you which mode you’re in.
2) Enter a Frequency – Use the number keys to enter the frequency. Don’t worry about the decimal point – it appears automatically. For a frequency of 152.000 MHz, simply enter “152000.”
3) Press "MENU" key use Up/Down keys to select menu function "MEM-CH #27" (Top Line)
4) Press "Menu" key use Up/Down keys to select the channel/memory location (Bottom Line) you wish to store the frequency in, you should hear the lady in you radio as "Confirmed"
5) Press "MENU" key again to save to that location
6) Press "EXIT" key to exit menu, go to step 2 to store more frequencies.

151.820 GLRE1
151.880 GLRE2
151.940 GLRE3
152.000 TRR1
152.750 TRR2

PS: These steps should also work on other Chinese made radios (like Wouxun), the MENU item to save a channel may be different.

Are you manually programming your radio or are you using software? No Tone and Tonesq are used. Check Menu 10-13 (at least that is were they are on my BF-F8+). In software I have "Chirp" it has those values but you have to enable it "Tone Mode" field.

The hotel is about 4 miles from the run and you will be camping in a big 6 acre field next to where the garage is where the band will be playing and the bond fire will be close all same area should be a really good time we will have food and drinks there during the day but a Kroger grocery store is 2 miles from the event and a gas station is about a mile away. There is also various fast food joints close to us also. There will be some very good spots to sit and watch everyone running in the event and some other fun area to watch the night runs.
