Order the BoFengs off amazon with 2 day shipping. Highly recommend some sort of radio for all on any trip. Safety first.

I'm so pissed I had to bail. The weather was nice, but I got some sweet noro virus keeping me within 20' of a toilet all weekend.

It was a perfect day for some wheeling. Only ran into a group of utvs and a group of jeeps other wise the trip was ours. Not a cloud in the sky and Rainier was peeking out.
The lake did have a nice welcome crew of mosquitos. But once we pushed further past the lake after lunch they thinned out.
There were many tight spots but we made it and I even had the truck teetering in 2 wheels across a major was out.
We almost made it to the very top of the trail/ peak of Hawkins mountain but a narly last hill climb with an off camber slope and very large boulder that would thave left some major damage stopped us.

more pics from Dwight. the last pic i think was at about 5,900 ft above sea level i started the day out in Issaquah at 300 feet above.

Great pictures! Looks like a fantastic day to be up there.
