Not for sure. Could run that trail in either direction. Does anyone have a preference?
If we run it Bloody Basin to SB to Cave Creek, we could get lunch in Carefree or Cave Creek.
Or run it the other way and get lunch at the "Famous" Pie Shop place right off the 17 in Black Canyon City. I've never been, but seems like somewhat of a landmark.

My suggestion would be to meet in Cave Creek somewhere for breakfast/meet up location and hit Rock Springs Cafe on the way back down I-17. thoughts?

Should be a fun easy run and a good intro for the Az FRF crew.

You guys thinking of bringing wives/girlfriends? my wife is in but doesnt want to be the only women there.

Perfect!

My wife definitely wants to tag along. The more the merrier in my mind!

Thanks to the members who helped put this together. As a side note, I'll be putting more of these together with the goal of 1 run per quarter. If anyone has any recommendations or input please let me know!

How much of this trip is on-road? Just bloody basin road to rock springs cafe? Considering bringing a non-street legal truck... May just trailer it once we see the road if its far.

The first 11 miles are on road. After that it's all dirt until we hit the 17 after Bloody Basin.

Hopefully you guys can make it!
