12/27 Vegas run

I'm putting together a potentially really fun and long run starting from the 95 near Mount Charleston and ending in Jean. The route is something like this:

95 to Alamo Road to the 93, roughly 75 miles. Backtrack on the 93 to where it hits the 15, refuel at Love's and take the power lines to Nadine Peterson Blvd and cut east, parallel the train tracks until we hit Northshore or Lakeshore Road which will take us to Boulder City, then run power lines to Jean. The total distance should be over 300 miles

I've already got a couple guys going on the 27th but if anyone else wants to go with they're more than welcome. I'll record the route on my Lowrancemake some changes and hopefully we can put it in for an official Raptor Expeditions run sometime next year.

Hey Jay, sounds fun! Won't be able to make this one... heading out of town..

Quick note... I think Alamo road is blocked off at the lake bed/silt part. You can get through, just watch out for range security that are enforcing that area. I have been through with no problems, but have people who have told me that they have been hassled..

Sounds like an awesome run. Got plans to camp with the family so no permission slip for me haha.

I am a total novice to off road, but wanting to learn.
No radio or Lowrance yet. ( on the shopping list for the truck )
Hopefully this won't be an issue.
Where is the meeting point and what time??

This run won't be bad I went out my 2nd time off road on part of it. You can just run in the middle of the pack. 10am at Corn Creek Road off the 95

Probably a dumb question, but where exactly is the meeting point off of 95?
I see Alamo rd, but don't see Corn Creek .
