They released that video to showcase the Torsen and front camera that came on the '12 and up models.
I noticed every one of them were SCAB's.

Yes which also has me very curious how much better does a SCAB do off road then say the new 2017 super crew? I was planning on getting the super crew.
It is all about breakover angle. There were several spots in that video where a Super Crew (12" longer wheelbase than a Super Cab) would have high centered. It all depends on which trails you want to run.

I'm also wondering if you guys did Elephant Hill and particularly were you able to fit the Raptors in The Devils Pocket aka "The Squeeze"?
I found a video of what appears to be a Raptor getting damaged here, and some other videos of a big full size Ram 1500 truck that makes it through.
Ram Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsApp1N16uY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9p_PxIsCAyE
Raptor Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNPJjVGdssI

Specs for a 2015 Ram is 79.4" Wide.
Raptor is 86.3" appears to me the Raptor will would not make it. To bad the guys who made that Raptor video cut before we could see what damage was done.
The Raptor is a member of the forum. There is a thread on it.

Hello,
I'm surprised to see you guys in Moab in the snow.
Did you guys do ALL of Hells Revenge? Even the hard parts such as Hells Gate, Mickey's Hot Tub, the Escalator and Tip Over? These all have bypasses from what I'm reading and I'm wondering if you guys bypassed or did them?

We did bypass all the of the difficult options on Hell's Revenge. The two SCABS did better on the trail vs. the two SCREWS. Both @The Macf and I did a little paint damage when the rear bumper pushed up and hit the paint. Very minor and well worth the trip for me!

I would have bypassed them as well, especially in the snow. Looks like the snow was causing some unneeded stress with sliding.

Thanks YukonJoe, I found the conclusion of the "the squeeze" story here:

I'm starting to see there has been quite a few members here that have been to Moab so I can start digging to see which trails a Raptor should stay off of.

Cool. Do you have a thread posted about your experience there?
go to search bar and search first road trip in the beast, as well as canyonlands or Moab part II. Those where acouple trips I've taking with a few other members. The last trip I went solo. Check my albums I think I have some pics of that trip. Well worth it to me man, it's like you're on another planet over there.

We don't do anything called squeeze or tub. I believe we did the entire hells revenge. There was one bypass that I was aware of but we didn't take it. Other than than a little pucker strain no bad damage. One got hi centered and I think that was it.

Cool thanks, I'll take a look at your posts.

I'm still on the fence for buying a Super Crew or Super Cab. Seems the cab will be better for off road trails but the crew better for traveling etc.. I don't have people in my back seats very often in my current cars so now I must decide. More fun in the desert and mountains or more road trip comfort.
