Friday - before sunset.

Dan, Tim & myself headed out about 4:30 to run the trail up to Aguerenerry Point to catch the sunset.

Here's Tim chasing Dan up the mountain:

Great trip Andy, thanks for leading us across the valleys. The weather was great - last night it was beautiful and the temperature was perfect. The clouds made for great pictures.

Death Valley is a beautiful place - if you haven't been there and seen it in person you owe it to yourself to go. Every time we go we are impressed with the panoramas.

There are some great trails there but many are 4WD trails (not high speed runs). If you're not into anything other than high speed desert washes and dirt roads/fire trails, you won't be as happy with Death Valley as you are with the high speed stuff.

I'll post pics later - got a number of them to download and re-size.

As Dan said, DV has a few high speed sections, but invarioubly there are some bumpy sections that you need to cross to get to the quick stuff. DV is more about the scenery & history than WOT Raptor running - and as it's a National Park, they have (gasp) speed limits on the backroad trails.

Fortunately the 1st run to Ag Pt, contained no such bumps - video is uploading......

Yes, the one that honked as it went by Panamint Springs - loaded with stuff in the bed.

Did you have a motorcycle in the back of the truck (looked like a Honda off road)
