Bombing around Cal City, Ca

I'm spending the weekend in the Cal City area with the Raptor. We went out to Cantil, looking at the crash site of ****** Galactic's Spaceship Two. We then bombed around the desert for a while. After getting rain recently, traction is incredible. Unfortunately, driving WAY to fast into an otherwise familiar corner, I blew the turn and took out two rather large desert shrubs. My SVC bumper and Rigid light held up fine, save for a shit ton of scratches to the front of the truck. Good times!

The crash site is very large, not much shows up in pictures. This is the spot where pilot Mike Alsbury landed, along with much of the cockpit. The area is littered with carbon fiber, window material, electrical parts, and a few AN fittings. I also found a scrap of paper that appears to be from the flight manual.
