Upgraded to a Pelican case (Model 1660) to store the 2 ton jack/Viair/booster cables/flat tire repair kit.
Plenty of room to add additional items to this case as needed.
Pelican produces some very nice cases and this fits perfectly under my Bakflip F1.
This remains in the bed of my Raptor full time.
I have a 48 gal action packer too but is used to haul shovel, axe, etc...
The Sterilite box will now be used to store and haul some of the larger shooting/target practice gear.

The Sterilite will serve a useful purpose for some of my shooting gear.

Right there with you. I've got a 1690 as my primary and also a 1650. I have put them through hell and they haven't failed me yet. I don't have a cover for the bed so I really like being able to keep things secure as well as protected from the weather.

I use a 1660 also. I'm actually thinking about downsizing to a smaller case and mounting the jack and a few other items separately. It would be nice to carry 2 full size spares in the bed, with the other stuff, all under a cover. The quest for the perfect setup continues.

Nice setup. I'm currently running the Pelican TL3619. It holds (as of right now) 550cord, First Aid bag, tow cables, tarp, a couple of emergency meals and other misc tools and gear.

Going to throw a jack in there when I finally buy a better one.

So I just figured out that my 1690 fits perfectly behind my back seat in the cab. I usually lock it and wrap a chain around one of the handles through one of the 4 bed tie down hooks. This works even better. Not how I will or do always carry it, but for SnoBall I like this better. And I have a ton of truck stuff in it, recovery straps, chainsaw, fluids, hand tools... With cab room to spare for luggage and what nots.
