mudflap install help

for those of you that installed mudflaps did you have to take the tires off?

I half ass tried this afternoon to install my vortex flaps and couldnt get the screwdriver in the tight space to screw the flap on. I tried turning the wheel all the way for more room but still had a hard time and gave up. The rear flaps are going to be near impossible.

Tips?

I took the wheels off.

i used a 1/4 air ratchet to put mine on

Me too. ZIP ZIP. I also used about 6 or 7 screws and large area washers on each screw to keep the flex down.
