I posted this in my build thread but I figured it would be a good idea to post this here too.
First, big thanks to Gordon for helping me install this thing.
Ok, I got a Gobi Rack. They haven't quit released them yet but I'd seen a photo on facebook with a rack on a Raptor that looked like one of theirs. I messaged them and in fact they were developing one for the F150. 5 months later it showed up haha. I can't complain though. The workmanship is amazing and even came prewired through the tubing of the rack.
The install didn't go as smoothly as it should have. They use jack nuts but we ended up abandoning them for nutserts. Once we did that things went much better until I stripped one of them, doh! I think Gordon wanted to slap me when I did that haha. He's a very methodical, read the instructions kind of guy. I'm a trial and error, don't worry things will work out kind of guy so I can get on his nerves sometimes.
Anyhow, we wrapped it up and I'm pleased with result. It does come with a wind faring for the front but since I already have a 50" I decided to keep it and the faring does work with it there.

That rack looks so good on your truck especially with your lights. I would really appreciate it if you would stop posting pictures of your truck because every time I see a pic with the rack installed I have to turn off my iPad so I don't buy one. Lol.

Agreed, that rack is so nice, but i dont know that i could drill holes in the roof of my truck.

Ya but how it makes the truck look and the function of it I think its worth it. Plus if you take it off a little silicon will fix it right up.

I'll try and get you some tonight. You drill 4 holes on each side into the roof and attach the railing to them. From there the rack mounts to the railing.

Thanks and I totally get your concern. For me, I'm going to have the truck for a long time and there will be a lot more cutting and drilling into the truck anyway. Pretty sure it will have LT and a cage at some point.

Yep, that's what I was thinking. The wholes are on the roof and will likely never be noticed by the owner since they know they are there. You could also cover them up with a roof wrap as well. Or, just leave the rails on and pull there rack and only use it when needed. Lots of options.

@Bigg50 If it's not a hassle could you take measurements from the roof to the top of the rack, front and rear? Curious to if it'll clear my garage opening.

They highest point is in the front where the tubing is raise for the light bar. It's approximately 7 inches above the roof.
