Securing Floor Jack

I would like to secure my floor jack in the bed so it doesn't move around. What is the best method to do this besides getting a bed rack?

Not the best pics. But made of plywood. 2 x 4s. Secured with bed tie downs and straps. Deck screws. Worked for me. Don't know if I would jump the truck like this.mu2uryta.jpg

Depends on how permanent you want to do this.

If you don't mind drilling some holes in your truck bed you have several options including rails that you mount to the floor and then tie to them.

You could also build something in wood or plastic and even use a piece of rubber mat under the jack.

If you don't want to bolt through the bed then you have fewer choices - maybe straps to the tie down locations.

You might want to check this thread out:

Outlaw Raptor sells the craftsman jack mount that you could mount in the bed

Ask E63 how his ABS pipe and plywood bed rack worked.
Just sayin
Nothin like having a 30 lb jack flying in the air, then when ya stop wonder "hey, where's my jack"

FYI. Craftsman is supposedly discontinuing that jack.

I have the HF one on a quick mount that Foutz motorsports built.

I strap mine down with a ratchet strap. It holds it down nice and tight, no problems even in the roughest offroading.

Do you have a anymore pictures of the jack mount and toolbox. I'm looking for something like that. Don't need the rest of the cage. Raptor is the taxi around the races not the chase truck.
