I've done the DIY mod, and it's not flawless. I've had the key ring get stuck to the point were I couldn't use it to actuate the release lever. Very frustrating, and I broke the head rest mounting clip trying to fix the issue.
If I were to do it again, I'd go this tour route....

Oh wait, I could do this mod on Little Red. But the child car seats kinda make it pointless.

In any case, this looks to be a very well thought out product. Nice job @BuiltRight

Just picked up a couple of these! Good find @RDFTS! Always looking for useful mods! Now I can get busy researching my ideal AR platform and mounting solutions for said pea-shooter to be stealthily stuffed behind the seat!

I have one on the way. I plan on a shovel, tow rope and jumper cables with a few other smalls I don't ever use but need just in case.

Excuse my ignorance but what exactly are these for? My seat fold up against the back and then a nice little level lets them back down. I have only been an owner for 4 days. 2014 SCREW.
