Different key and fob

Not sure I am in the right forum, move it if needed. My question is has a changed their current all in one key and fob to a seprate one, or an all in one like the picture? The reason I ask, I don't like carrying keys with me, I only like having the key fob in my pocket. I know there are lock buttons on the door but it's just the way I am. I'm sure I can get a blank key and fob off ebay and have it cut, but can you cut the all in one that folds up? My work truck has one like I have pictured.

Most folks run into the issue of not being able to find a switchblade style key that offers remote start.

I have changed my key to one like in picture. I don't have remote start though, I have a 2010 but works perfect.

How did they cut it? The one I have from my chevy work car is cut inside if you understand what I am saying. Where did you get yours cut? I don't have a remote start either.

Should cut the same way. Just a different cut for different vehicles.

MobileBeats is correct, just cut the same way as any other. I did bring to wal-mart knowing damn good and well they could cut it.....yet the idiot claimed they couldn't. Arguing with an idiot never works so I bailed and took it to the locksmith down the road from my house the next morning.

Has anyone found a key for our trucks that includes the Remote Start option yet?

Where did you get yours? I have a 2013 and I can't find one for that year, or does it have to be year specific? Thanks

Your 2013 has remote start, right? If so, AFAIK there is not a switchblade that incorporates remote start for our trucks.

No mine doesn't have the remote start that I know of.
