I have always liked the vehicles made by FoMoCo that include ambient lighting and found all the components to make it work in my Raptor. I will post the pics and rather than give a long winded, lengthy description will instead answer any questions later in this thread. ( If you all have any:jester:)

All in all, there are 7 different colors but the photos are really hard to take and give you the full effect. It is a bit of an expensive mod, but makes a unique addition to the Raptor. Hope you all enjoy!

Very useful mod - helps me find the holder for my cocktail when its dark out.

In Pic 1 your brought a ground wire in from under the hood, correct? How did you get thru the fire wall? I tried inside the rubber wiring boot, but couldn't fit anything, so i ended up going around the edge of the boot. Now I suspect I'm no longer waterproof. Any suggestions?

How do you get the console cover off?

Actually, no, there had to be no wiring brought in from outside. That is the power and ground supply to the small ambient lighting module (not pictured) that is part of the supplied harness in the base kit.

The console bezel comes off very easily. Lift the small chrome trim ring from around the PRNDL and then grasp the console on both sides and lift firmly, just high enough to disconnect the switches and then remove.
