That's a great price. I gotta get this done. To many electronics in this truck to not pull the trigger on ESP coverage.

Thanks for the fast re.

check into what it covers first. If it's only the drivetrain for that extended period, and if you plan on doing a tune or filter that would void it anyway, may not be worth it.

Just my $.02...when I bought my 05 Mustang GT when I was stationed in Germany, I opted for the 7 year extended warranty as I knew I would be keeping this car until the wheels fell off. I forgot all about the extended warranty when I moved back to the states, and last year the auto trans and alternator bit the bullet.

I was able to limp to the local dealership to have the trans and alternator repaired/replaced. I thought I was out of pocket for $3500 + but when the service department pulled the VIN, the extended warranty showed up in their system and all I had to pay was a $50 deductable and the trans and alternator were replaced. I paid $1200 for the extended warranty back in 2005. The extended warranty plan paid for itself and then some.

Will I opt for the extended warranty on a Raptor...you bet! Plan on keeping her until the wheels fall off. Will I ever need it? Who knows, but the peace of mind is priceless to me.

I think extended warraties are a good idea. However, take some time to think about it. You have (with Ford at least) until the day before your factory warranty expires...so that gives you 3 years to mull it over. :peace:

Interesting point indeed.

I'm definitely getting it and will look into the maintenance plan as well. Don't know much about that one so I'll have to do some research.

i was told 12 months or 12k miles without any added cost. either way you got time. the maintenance plan tho you need to do before your 3k first oil change.
