hate to start a turf war but how are these different to the R1 Concepts?

I don't know much about the R1 brakes but I'm sure both types of brakes have there good reviews and bad reviews.
I've had EBC sport rotors and yellow pads for a year and a half now on my truck with nothing but a good experience.

These are good brakes, a number of owners have them. Me included. I have talked to EBC directly on more than one occasion, and I was impressed with their customer service and the amount of testing (real world trials) they do on these parts. Only down side can be stock availability, as the rotors are cut in the UK and shipped to the US.

Like anything else I would assume its just up to the preference of the consumer. Both companies have been in the industry awhile, I have used EBC in the past and the quality was great. I have no experience with R1

I have run EBC red's on motorbikes, down hill bikes, cars and never had a bad experience with them. I would probably recommend going with yellows for a DD as reds can be very noisy when cold. I had reds + sport rotors on my charger, it was a huge improvement over stock. I may be bias being British :Grenade:
