After working this weekend installing lights, I found that Aux. #3 (Purple)
was dead. The light on switch comes on, but there is no power to the
purple wire. I turned them all on just to see if perhaps purple was tied to
another switch, but no luck. NO POWER to purple. Any thoughts???

Did you hook the wires inside the cab first? Sounds like you just hooked up the wires under the hood.

I wired the lights - Whelen to #3, KC's to #4. #4, worked perfectly, #3 - no worky!

Traced it back, checked the connections, checked the fuse, checked the purple wire - dead. Moved the Whelens to #2, they worked perfectly. Conclusion - #3 switch is not working. I saw a prior post with the same complaint - no solution so far. May have to call the dealer and note it in my file for a future fix.

maybe lift up and check the aux switches from underneath the panel? being a 12volt guy, i probably would try to dive in and see what the problem is, but that me, i do this on a adaily basis. if it is a faulty switch definitely have it replaced.

Hmm.....I suppose that I could change switch #3 for another one and see if the purple
one is then live - that way I'll know it's the switch.
