the type of foam used on top was designed to insulate the vehicle. it helps gives the affect of being in a recording studio. its a squishy half and half foam. not quite closed cell foam, but not quite open cell foam and its pretty dense. the surface is a little difrerent too. the mat portion, was designed to help eliminate rattles, stop panel vibrations, and provide a surface that sound waves can reflect off of very well.

How much would you need to do the doors on a Supercab? And how much $$$

it depends on if you want complete door coverage. some people opt for partial coverage so that will depend on how much you want to do. one roll will do all the doors in a supercab. the crew cabs use a roll and a half

Should I do the inner and outer of the door? Or is that overkill.

i did both layers of metal. i also added black hole tile in there as well. but on the top row of tile, i had to trim it at an angle so it would clear the window. the bottom row is lined all across too
