I installed this kit which is nice because it uses most of the stock plumbing and basically replaces the air box top, filter and MAF tube. It fits in very nicely and is fully compatible without engine tuning. It was $292 shipped from the Roush website.

Definite seat of the pants power increase at high RPMs and it makes the exhaust much louder either stock or aftermarket. I also get .5-1 MPG better at 55-70MPH cruising speeds.

The area around the filter is a heat shield which forms nicely under the hood to block hot engine bay air.

So you notice a difference then. How long did it take you to install?

Definite difference. I have been back and fourth between this and stock a few times and I can always tell. It's not a ton, but it's nice. First install took 20 mins....now I can swap it in/out in 5 since it's assembled.

Bird: How many miles do you have on your truck? What type of conditions do you drive in? Have you noticed any problems with the CAI?
