I had a screw in the same position in one of my tires, I actually screwed it all the way in so it wouldn't leak until I could get to the tire shop. It held air perfectly for a few days.

Yeah, mines been in there all week and held air. I work nights so had to wait till today to get it patched

It could be that the screw is short enough that it didn't pierce all the way through into the air envelope. If so, no tire repair is required.

It did. Went to take it out this morning and soon as I turned it air leaked.
