Did you look at using a 5 gal Jerry and smittybuilt mount? Dimension wise, it looks like it’ll fit and it’s a less expensive solution.

Just wondering if you looked at that option and ran into an issue or personal preference was Rotopax.

I went with rotopax, as sometimes my loadout changes and this gives me the luxury of moving the cans easily, or splitting them onto two separate mounts.

I like the contact patch of the rotopax can to the mounting surface a whole lot better as it minimizes the leverage that a jump can exert on the actual mount.

I am using a smittybuilt axe/shovel mount.

That and i think 6 gals is better than 5.

Good points. I love the functionality and configurability of the rotopax system. Going to check out those and some Jerry van options tomorrow. Thanks for the input.

I could only fit one 3 gallon rotopax with the new jack mount on the left and the swing case on the right.

I just picked up one of these built right industries racks. It is a very easy install. I only got the left rear panel because I have the undercover swing case on the passenger side. I also picked up a RotopaX and a bubba rope with some shackles. I may have to get the 2 front panels for some additional rack storage. These are good quality.

Anyone have any installation issues on Gen 2 Swing Case installation? I understand the tail light has to be removed.
Thanks
