Looking at upgrading the tires on my 2018 with the stock beadlock wheels. Truck is getting the RPG 1.5 collar in the next couple weeks. Maxxis Razr MT 35 13.50 17 tires spec at 14.2 in wide but are approved for a 8.5 in wide rim. Height wise they should fine at 34.8 inches but does anyone think the width will be an issue ?

I’m thinking they won’t be much of an issue on the factory wheels but would like to see how you end up

I am also wondering if 37” KOs will fit on factory wheels with the 1.5” collar. I have the 1.5” collar (ICON) and have more than 2” of clearance from the fender liner. KO 37s are only 2” bigger in diameter than factory so thinking they might actually fit without rubbing.

Why not go with the LT315/70R17 still get your 35" height and 13" wide and load range D which will give you a little more flex in the sidewall than the E range one.

Most of the 315/70/17 Are 34.4 or 34.5 and 12.6-12.8 width. Just looking to go with a more aggressive tire and something different than the stock ko2. 14.2 wide is two inches wider than the stock C range ko2 on there now which are 12.4 wide. I have a buddy that has the Razr MT on his JK Jeep and he loves them.

I've always run narrow wheels, it pulls in the sidewall to help protect them...that's in desert running, for mall prerunning I have no idea.

P.S. NOT saying the OP is mall running, just used the statement as an example... :)

No iam not into mall running, however a Starbucks once a week or so..... the truck is 50 percent DD and spends about a month out of the year on hunting trips in the Rockies in some pretty bad areas at times.
After looking at the A arm clearance I am not going to be able to pull it off without doing a spacer, not sure if the 1/4 inch would be enough or it’s move to the 1.5 inch and iam not wanting to do that. Looks like a true 13.25 maybe 13.5 inch width 35 inch tire is about all you can do on the stock wheel. The 14.2 in width is not going to cut it.

No, but I'm interested to see feedback. Also, do you think the 1.5 collar is necessary to fit them height-wise?

Probably but have done the 1.5 collars already when I did the +3 deavers and bump stop kit a few weeks ago. I may see if a local shop that is a Maxxis dealer will test fit these for me.
