My old gen 2 couldn't climb sand dunes like this one can! Also, lets be honest I'll never keep a vehicle that long. All you die hard Gen 1 guys think you've got some kind of tank. The 6.2L engine probably will last a lot longer cause it's a 6.2L NA putting down 385-415 HP. It's a work truck engine. The ecofart is medium sized v6 boosted performance engine that's designed to make 200,000 miles at 450HP. It's going to be good enough for a performance vehicle.

It would have if you Supercharged.
And the new is not climbing the dunes because it has 39 more HP, it's that 10 speed tranny smoothly down shifting and maintaining revs.

The short block MIGHT make it 200k but I doubt the turbos, wastegates, and who knows what else will. We definitely know the plastic oil pan won't.
